Weekly Scripture

Proverbs 3 1-9, 13 & 14 NKJV
Guidance for the Young

1 My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;
2 For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh And strength to your bones.
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;
14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

Weekly Quote

“Let the youth remember that here they are to build characters for eternity, and that God requires them to do their best. Let those older in experience watch over the younger ones; and when they see them tempted, take them aside, and pray with them and for them. The Lord would have us recognize the great sacrifice of Christ for us by showing an interest in the salvation of those He came to save. If the youth will seek Christ, He will make their efforts effectual.”

Ellen G. White
The Youth’s Instructor, November 21, 1911

Welcome! From the Principal's Desk

Dreamweaver CS3WELCOME to the Grenada Seventh Day Adventist Comprehensive School. Here our motto propels us to achieve: it reads “We Learn Not for School but for Life.” At our school, of greater importance are our responsibilities to our students, their parents and the community at large. For just over five hours each day, for five days each week, for forty weeks each year, we endeavor to meet the individual needs of each individual child- physical needs, cognitive needs, moral and spiritual needs.
We understand that the process of total education of each child goes on all the time. Above all, the Greatest Teacher, Jesus, is our Chief Exemplar. As we combine our efforts with the Divine, our prayer is that our students will demonstrate in their daily interactions, the uplifting standards which they assimilate daily.
Welcome to all! May God’s richest blessings attend you.

A Blessed and Prosperous New Year to All

We like to welcome back all students and staff for the new year, 2013. This year we may be faced with greater challenges and obstacles, however, one of our fundamental principles is that "We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. Continue with hard work hard work and dedication success might be just aorund the corner

A Fond Farewell

Grenada S.D. A. Comprehensive School bids a fond farewell to Mrs. Gemma Britton as she retires. Mrs. Britton served as Principal of this noble Institution for the last fifteen years. We thank her for the devoted and dedicated service she gave to the education of the nation’s children. She sought to instill in the hearts of the students in her charge a love of God and Service as a reflection of the School’s Motto: We learn not for School but for life. As she retires, the students, staff and parents of this institution wish her the very best successes in whatever new undertakings she in engages in. Her dedication to education will be missed.
May God’s richly bless you Mrs. Britton.
